Dowman Wallaby, RB632.
10" high plush Wallaby - Macropodidae There are around thirty different species of wallaby; essentially they are any macropod not considered large enough to be a kangaroo although there is no dividing line between the two. Primarily from Australia they have also been introduced into New Zealand and the United Kingdom with colonies in Scotland, the Peak District and East Sussex. Like the kangaroo the wallaby has large flat feet giving it the ability to bound along at high speeds and jump long distances, when males fight they also use the hind legs to deliver a powerful kick.
