Mummy Bear (Bessie) is married to Pops, and is very lively and always on the go.
She loves all the little bears in her care – she comforts them when they are sad, feeds them when they are hungry and teaches them how they should behave when they go to school and to their new homes. She is very jolly, always ready with a smile and a word of encouragement.
Baby Bear is not actually Mummy Bear’s baby, but has been adopted by her. She hasn’t learnt to speak yet, so she spends most of her time with Mummy Bear although the other bears find her extremely cute and like to play with her sometimes.
Mummy Bear’s favourite saying is, “Never let the sun go down on a quarrel.”
